Best chicken wings around! Try the Mango Habenero for something fun and spicy! They have a great manager and he really keeps his staff in line and well trained! (if there's ever an issue - make sure and let him know ... he'll deal with it!) We've never had bad food there yet! It's our new favorite chicken wings place to eat! We've tried several flavors but our favorites are definitely the classic and mango habenero. :) Food is made fresh and on the spot. I love that I can order online and have my order ready when I get there too! :) This is the perfect Monday night Football appetizers!! Just make sure to invite me over too! ;)

This is an update to a previous review: Since wings are my favorite food I've been praising their wings so much that my mom wanted to try them! The manager smiled at me but stood back and let the cashier that recognized me take my order. The staff was very friendly and professional. I tried the Cajun wings which had just the amount of spice to make them hotter than Louisiana Rub and Mango Habanero. They redeemed themselves from my last experience there! I will definitely go back for more yummy wings!

Review based on phone etiquette. Talked to a "Evan" or "Ethan" and he was wonderful. Answered my questions beautifully.

I would compare this restaurant to Buffalo Wild Wings; both have very similar menus; both seem to be sports-oriented, with TV screens on the walls. BWW has one thing on this place: they have hard cider, which Wingstop does not. But at lunch I'm not looking for alcohol, so this hardly matters. I've only been to one BWW: the one in Rockville Town Center. And I've only been to one Wingstop: this one in Aspen Hill. So some of the comparisons might not apply across the board to all branches of both chains. This one is considerably smaller than the BWW I've been to, and nowhere near as busy (I think they may do more take-out than eat-in business; I've never seen a reason to do take-out, however). But then again, this is a new location, in a place that was until recently a Vietnamese place. I was sad to see the Vietnamese place go, but if I'm really in the mood for Vietnamese food, there's always Mi La Cay, though it's some distance away in Wheaton. As is usual where there are a lot of degrees of spicy, I don't generally order the absolute spiciest on their menu, but I ordered (for my two flavors) Louisiana Rub, which is near the top, and Garlic Parmesan, nearer to the bottom. I was happy with both. I got the boneless wings, which are available (with two flavors, divided half and half, and a dip) in quantities of 6, 8, or 10. An order of 8 came with an immense order of French fries and a self-serve drink for under $10, a good price. My only complaint might be I would have preferred more chicken and a smaller portion of fries. The total was quite filling, and good. All in all, certainly not a five-star place (see my negative comments above), but a worthwhile place to go.

The wings here are amazing! I love the garlic parmesan and BBQ wings. The combos are such a great deal - sign up for their e-club and get an email instantly for their free fries :) The part that knocked them down one star to only 4 stars is their customer service. The employees here always seem very.....aggressive, not friendly, or welcoming. For our most recent order, they messed up our normal order and gave us the spiciest wings on their menu. We called to complain and the manager gave said our next same order will be on them, which was nice of him. He did say that he recently got a few new employees, which was nice of him, but left us hungry for the night. Just make sure you look at your order before leaving. Overall, I do recommend the wings & fries at this place - much better that your normal wings joint.

My husband and I have gotten Friday night take-out from Wingstop several times, and we always enjoy the food. We have gotten 5-6 different varieties of the boneless chicken wings and as many different sauces and sides. While I am sure there are better wings in the world, these definitely taste good and satisfy you when you are craving bar food without being able to go out. Kids really cramp your style! :-D I will add this: we have never eaten there, so I cannot speak to their ambiance or the service of their staff. My husband has used their online ordering system ( order.wingstop.com ) to call ahead and order the food so it is ready for pick up and he says it is very easy and it has always been ready by the time he gets there.

Made a quick stop for lunch while running errands in Aspen Hill. Staff was polite. Shop was relatively clean. Once, you order there is about an 8 to 10 minute delay as they make each order fresh. There are pros and cons to that, but once I got my food, I felt a little rushed to finish and get out. I had the Hawaiian and the Old Bay boneless. The Hawaiian is a wet sauce which was overly tangy and sweet. The Old Bay is a dry rub and is good, without being really spicy. The husband had the Teriyaki and the Old Bay. I tried the Teriyaki, but only got about half way through the wing before my stomach hurt from how sweet the sauce was. I understand not wanting all the sauces to be spicy, but this was cloyingly sweet.

Came here for lunch with a coworker. The chicken, their several flavor options and combinations are excellent however my compliant will always be because of the wait time. Bathrooms are cleaned. Decor and atmosphere is nice. And the customer service is stellar. The fries could be better but overall ok.

18 min wait time per order but it's worth it because they make each order fresh-only reason for four stars is because the fries weren't good. I got lemon pepper and atomic. And they were delicious. My daughter had the chicken strips which were the best I've had. The service was great. If your looking for good wings this is the place!

This Wing Stop opened recently where Pho Hung used to be. I went there with my family soon after they opened. The food took forever, considering all we ordered was boneless wings and fries, and they bring out one portion at a time, making others at your table wait. They call your name loudly even though it's a small place. The wings were dry with way too much breading, which was slightly burnt. The sauces were awful. The fries were good. I don't see the attraction in this place unless you love cholesterol. I miss Pho Hung, a Vietnamese restaurant where you could get fresh, healthful food. And I am not a health food nut. Wing Stop is a step in the wrong direction. I miss Pho Hung!

not what I expected from a wing restaurant ,thin wings very grease and not tossed with the sauce to cover all the wings in sauce. if that's all you do it should be done right ,get meatier wings ,turn the fryer on higher , taste and coate the wings all over.

Saddest excuse for buffalo wings I've ever seen. You'd think a place named Wing Stop would at least get buffalo wings right. Why would anyone pay this much for frozen wings? And you pay extra on top of that for any blue cheese or ranch when ordering 30 wings? What a joke.

There is zero chance of me returning for these wings... Started off with the mango habanero and garlic parmesan. The mango habanero wasn't all that spicy nor did I enjoy the flavor. However, they were better than the garlic parmesan wings which had zero taste at all... Went back for some lemon pepper and some buffalo wings hoping to salvage my meal... The lemon pepper wings weren't oily enough while the regular hot wings were no better than 7-11 wings. The fries weren't even that good, and fries anywhere are usually always good, haha.

Certainly won't be returning after my wings were overcooked the first time I tried this location. Tried it again a couple weeks later and this time, they were pink inside!!! If you're trying to kill people, good job WingStop, if not, try to learn how to cook properly.

Terrible service and even worse customer relations. Placed an order online and showed up at the time displayed on the emailed receipt... Not only was my food not ready, they had no idea about my order. That's pretty scary seeing as how I prepaid for my food!!! (as required at this location). Then the guy at the counter tells I'd have to wait 40 minutes longer for my order (that I already placed 30 minutes prior to showing up). The restaurant was half empty, 40 minutes for 20 wings... What are they killing, plucking, and preparing them in the back? On top of that the manager (I'm guessing, the guy who looks like the gieco caveman) gets an attitude because I was upset with the situation. Never hitting this location again, sticking to Gaithersburg. Unfortunately they're a lot less nice in low income neighborhoods.

The wings are good and for the most part of a decent size. In the few times I've been there, the person ringing me up at the register (a different person each time) is a little odd. After one or two of my orders, I'll overhear a personal conversation between the register person and the cook staff and some profanity would be used.

Honestly, all 4 stars are for the staff. Love the guys that work there. They were polite and helpful. There was one young gentleman(didn't catch his name) who went above and beyond. I wish I could have tipped them more but I didn't carry that much cash :( The food actually sucks. But that really isn't anyone's fault. Just the whole company has sucky sauces. I would rather BWW but this place was closer. I would return when I am feeling lazy and don't want to go to Rockville but only because of the service. Seriously. Keep these guys or I would never return or recommend to anyone.

Wings are good prices are good tasting and this place gets a five star rating for service. I had to wait longer than usual this time but the manager Lewis was courteous and professional as usual and he made sure we were satisfied once again. It's refreshing to see people who take their job in the service industry seriously.

Love this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the wings are the best ever, especially the garlic parmesan. Recommend highly.

Mediocre service. Flavors on wings either too much or no flavor . Garlic wings comes out too dry like dehydrated chicken. Need to do better job

For a place that specializes in wings, you'd think the wings would be better. Way too much salt in the seasoning. the teriyaki and bbq sauce were horrible too. The service is really good but I came to eat not talk and I don't want to eat this food. I Won't be back

Just picked up some wings for the first day of the Redskins season (9/7/2014) Gotta say the wings aren't half bad. Not amazing, but certainly tasty and the Hot sauce isn't crazy overpowering. Has that great classic buffalo taste and the wings were cooked to near perfection. With that being said, I ordered online, with a 12:08 pickup time. I walked out of the restaurant at 12:55. The staff here is completely inept. I ordered online (which makes it easier for them). I even pre-paid. I had 3 workers fumbling over receipts, asking me my name, phone number, what time I ordered, what I ordered. If that's not inept I don't know what is. On top of that, the manager there is a power tripping idiot. He was shoeing me away from the counter as I was trying to just figure out if they had what I ordered. Saying I was "blocking" the workspace. He then went on to tell people in line if they didn't order ahead, it would be an hour wait. As if this is the best damn wing place on the East Coast, you need to bow down and respect the chefs in the backroom. It's like dude, you're frying up frozen food and throwing sauce on it....Take it easy. They have this place set up as a dine in/pick up. It should just be pickup. They have the smallest kitchen area and clearly aren't set up to take a lot of orders. The staff there was a real drag and you can tell none of them were trained properly. They do have a few TV's in there, but if it's busy you're sitting among a line of people trying to get pickup food. It's not a comfortable sit down eating environment I don't even know if it's the staff's fault, Wingstop has a fancy logo and promotes themselves like they are Buffalo Wild Wings. They certainly aren't. This is like a food truck operation trying to be a restaurant crammed into a tiny shop in the Aspen Hill Shopping Center. That manager there is a rude individual and was commanding customers as if it was privilege to be in there. Overall, wings are OK, do I recommend ordering there on a football Sunday? Absolutely not

Good for a quick fix if you're craving wings, but I'd go to elsewhere for better. We had the mild original and Parmesan garlic. I prefer juicy wings loaded with flavor, but these tasted more like fried chicken on the dry side. If you want juicy wings, check out Union Jacks. They're surprisingly awesome!
